Life
Attended VMI for 1 1/2 yr (one tough school). Joined Army, commissioned Artillery, Future wife pinned pilots wings on, tour Viet Nam (shot down) Graduate FAU, Fla State Trooper (homicide & narcotics) retired now after 30+ yrs, love backpacking & teach wilderness survival, self defense, long gun and handgun shooting for Fla Fish & Game, have a beautiful 2 story, 3 bdrm cabin and land in the mountains of western Montana (permanent home still in Orlando), have 3 grown kids (all doing very well) & 5 beautiful grandkids.

eb '67 before they drafted me, began rapid advancement thru enlisted ranks, then got my commission in the Field Artillery at Ft Sill, Ok. Immediately started flight school and my future wife pinned my wings on me at Ft Rucker, Al. We were married there in a military ceremony when I returned from Viet Nam. Served with 2 Sqdn/17 Air Cavalry, 101st Airborne in Viet Nam. shot down several times (normal for scout pilots), twice wounded & were uncontrolled crashes. Came back to Ft Bragg, NC and finished career with 18th Airborne Corps as a staff Officer.
